On this page you'll find a selection of my recent work. The latest ones will be on top and more is about to be added at irregular intervals.
The entries are listed randomly and roughly sectioned in “WEB”, “PRINT”, “GFX” and “PHOTO”.
Under “WEB” you'll find websites and website design concepts. “PRINT” shows the whole print work that I've done, mostly under the main aspect of typography. The “GFX” contain some work like photoshop designs and graphic design works. And finally as you can expect “PHOTO” shows some of my photography work.

→ Self promotional 2009 calendar (german language).
The colors represent the seasonal moods of each month.

→ Printed “BABO-Therapie” Business Card.

→ Stationery pack according to the developed corporate design.
WEB / BABO-Therapie Website
→ A website for “BABO-Therapie”, a physiotherapist and personal trainer from Cologne/Germany. The whole website is kept very simple and based on a small accordion javascript. Lightbox was used for the image gallery. You can watch this website live at:

GFX / Love & Hate Series
→ This is my first work from the Love & Hate Series. More is about to come.

GFX / hugo create
→ This is a poster that I made for the first round of the Hugo Create Online Contest. Eventually it was one of the highest rated but unfortunately it didn't convinced the jury. The whole project was made in Photoshop, the cap and coevally the letter O, was photographed and retouched.

PHOTO / cross-process & vignette
→ Photograph of a single leporello page in that new Cross-Process-Look with an edgy vignette. The whole leporello is also featured on this page.
GFX / watercolour brush experiment
→ Just playing around with some new watercolor and swirl brushes. Nothing special, just experimental.
GFX / Magazine Index concepts
→ These are some index concepts I made for my university of applied sciences. They are double-paged and each number represents the folio of the topic in the magazine. The colours werde predetermined. This pure typographic solution was made with Adobe InDesign CS3. Index #4 was finally chosen by the majority.
GFX / blind
→ Personal work on the aspect of racism. I guess everybody should build up his/her own opinion on this one.
WEB / Relaunch designs 1.FC Köln
→ Some website designs I made during my internship at the media & communication department of the 1.FC Köln (→ now Bundesliga), regarding the website relaunch 2008.
GFX / corporate logo concept
→ Possible blueprints on my personal corporate design that I made during my studies at the university. It contains a wordmark and a complete business set of letter paper, business card and different types of envelopes. The whole set isn't printed yet... I guess I'll make some new designs on this one, so stay tuned.

→ Photograph of a woven dish pad with a light perspective shot.

→ Photograph of some duckweed on the water surface in the fish tank.
PHOTO / sweet frosty
→ Photograph of my frosted car roof taken in the early hours against the rising sun. No filters were used on this one. What amazes is that originally the car roof is black.
PRINT / Avant Garde Gothic Typeface Booklet
→ A mini booklet on the Avant Garde Gothic typeface from Herbert Lubalin. I made this one as a homework project for the university. The booklet measures 15×15cm and counts 27 pages containing information on the typeface and its founder. Probably one of my favourite works.

GFX / mood magazine covers
→ Cover artwork for a fictitous magazine that I made during my design apprenticeship. The concept was to build up a nightlife/lifestyle magazine that is published in several german cities, containing some features that are identical and some that are specific for the city.
PRINT / avant garde gothic typeface leporello fold
→ Leporello regarding the typeface Avant Garde Gothic I made for a project at my university of applied sciences. It is made of three DINA4 pages on each side. The images above show the cover and three of the inner pages. The parameters were the usage of just one font and the colours black/white/red. If you would like to see the other pages also, please let me know.
WEB / adrate concept website
→ A website that I made for my application at the university of applied sciences. ADRATE is a website on which you can rate different advertisements from different fields like print-ads, online-ads and tv-spots. The whole project was build up in only 13 days. Dreamweaver and Photoshop were the applications that I used for this one.
GFX / bodyshop leporello fold
→ A sample leporello I made during my design apprenticeship for a local fitness & bodybuilding gym. The photographs are stockphotos from a database.
GFX / packaging design for becks it!
→ My Entry for the Becks It! Online Contest. In the end I didn't post it O_o. The designs are for one sixpack packaging and the two bottle labels.
WEB / mood magazine website
→ The matching website for the mood magazine. Fully functional, six-paged site with online download of the magazines. The images below show an excerpt of this project. It's been a while I made this project, table-based layouts and CSS only for the positioning of some elements. Photoshop and Dreamweaver were used to build this website.
